K Town – Finally has launched in PERTH!

K Town Restaurant has finally launched in Perth after the huge success in Sydney CBD. It is located in the heart of Northbridge in Aberdeen St. K Town was originally opened in Sydney, and it was a huge success. Their recipes – brought down for 3 generations – were created by the owner’s grandmother who is well known for making great Korean dishes and Kimchi.

The recipes show how ‘real’ Korean food should taste like (authenticity), and why K Town had achieved great success for so many years. At the same time, you will not only be impressed by the taste and the quality of the food, but  their interior design will impress you once more. It is calming, luxurious, and sophisticated. The vibe of the restaurant surely make people wanting to visit the restaurant again, and provide comfortableness and coziness.

Cheesy Pork Ribs

The core menu includes Korean style handmade dumplings, and handmade noodles that is served with selected broth. Moreover, excitingly, K Town is planning to launch D.I.Y BBQ Meat very soon! Apart from these core menus, K Town also has their famous new menus as well.

One of these menus is “Cheesy Pork Ribs”. This menu is one of the most famous menus in Korea that everyone just falls in love once they have them. You can choose the level of spiciness from Mild, Hot or Fiery. You can dip down the well-seasoned pork ribs into melted cheese, which creates a perfect match and provides extra richness in your mouth. It’s a MUST TRY! Try this menu and see if you can bare the spiciness!


Next famous menu is “Bossam”. It is a steamed pork with radish Kimchi. The pork is steamed in a specially made broth to get rid of the unnecessary smell, and to give extra flavour and softness. This menu is extremely well known in Korea, and there is literally no one who hates Bossam. Once you try, you will fall in love. It is best to eat the pork with radish kimchi, along with the sauces that come along. The sauces are soybean paste (ssamjang), and the salted shrimp. It’s a must try menu as well.


Another menu that cannot be missed in a Korean restaurant is “Naengmyeon (cold noodles)”. K town has launched these menus as a Summer Special with their special recipes, that is only available during the summer. Try this out before it disappears! It is made up of buckwheat and potato or sweet potato starch. There are two main types of cold noodles – “Mul Naengmyeon” and “Bibim Naengmyeon”. Mul Naengmyeon is served in a clear and cold beef broth, and Bibim Naengmyeon is served with a red, and spicy sauce. Choose one and try depending on your preference!


Last but not least, “Braised Soy Beef Ribs” is K Town’s another specialised menu. This menu is extremely popular as one of the nourishing menus in Korea. The beef ribs are braised in soy sauce and K Town’s braised soy beef ribs have great rich flavour since it is cooked with authentic, and traditional recipes that K Town is most proud of. It is not an easy dish to cook, and takes a lot of effort to produce. However, in K Town you can try a nicely prepared braised soy beef ribs. You will be impressed by how delicious it is!
